In 1995, Netscape was saying that the Browser was the OS for the Web, which confused many people including me. The Web of last twenty some years was a Web of information (data). Yet the next generation Web would be a Web of instant apps, which we call the Smart Web (vs the Smart Phone is a phone that runs apps) . Elastos is the sandbox for instant apps. All instances of browsers and websites on the Smart Web are tracked on the Elastos Blockchain. The http and so on protocols are completely hidden from apps running inside browsers and services running inside P2P websites, so that it would be extremely hard to breach privacy or launch DDoS attacks on the Smart Web.
